Who is Eligible to Apply Karnataka TET-KARTET?

For Classes I-V Teachers
Should have passed PUC/Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with 50% marks and must posses or appearing final year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Posses PUC/Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and must completed BEIEd or appearing 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education.
Senior Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and should passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Education (Special Education) of 2 years course.
Graduate courses BA/BSc passed and appearing final year course Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Classes VI-VIII Teachers
Applicant’s posses BA/BSc Graduation and completed or appearing 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education of final year.
Posses BS/BSc degree with 50% marks and must completed or pursing First year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Senior Secondary/PUC (or equivalent) with 50% marks and passed or appearing final year course of BEI.ED- Bachelor in Elementary Education.
PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and completed or appearing final year of 4 years BS/BSc.Ed or BAEd/BScEd.
BS/BSc Graduate with 50% marks and posses and appearing 1 year BEd (Special Education)

For Classes I-VIII Teachers
Applicant should posses PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and must posses or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
BA/BSc graduate and must posses or appearing in final year of 2 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education.

Note: Degree or Diploma course in teacher education shall be considered only when it recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Special Education courses Diploma in Education/ B.ED shall be considered when recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Where and How to pay the Fee
Candidates pay the fee through computer generated challan by depositing cash to CAC account with “State Bank of Mysore” the above fees as per category applicable.

For paying fee Goto apply online. Fill online application form with registration and generate login details by providing personal bio-education information. Generate Challan form and pay the fee at SBM.

KARTET Qualifying Marks

1) All appeared candidates will receive marks statement from KARTET board. Persons who secured 60% and above percentage Eligibility Certificate will be issued by Karnataka TET.

2) Applicants belonging to SC/ST/C-I/differently abled persons min 55% marks are eligible to get eligibility certificate

3) Qualifying in Karnataka TET (KARTET) is not confer to any person for employment, It is the only eligibility criteria for teachers recruitment notification.
